Sproutly

Pocket money that grows with them.

Sproutly is a little bank for your family. You set the allowance and it is paid automatically. Your kids see their own accounts, save toward things, and ask before they spend.

The parent dashboard: the total held, a chart of each kid's money over time, and a card for each kid.

Everything an allowance needs, nothing it doesn’t

  • Allowance that pays itself

Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, at the time you choose in your time zone. No reminders, no IOUs.

  • Spend, save and give

Every kid starts with Spending Money and Savings. Add Charitable Giving or your own, and split each allowance between them.

  • They ask, you answer

Kids request a withdrawal from money they can spend. You say yes or no from the bell, and the money only moves on a yes.

  • Watch it grow

A chart of every account over time, for you and for them, beside the full ledger of what came in and went out.

  • A bank of their own

Kids sign in at kids.sproutly.kids with a username and password you set. No email address, no phone.

  • See what they see

Open any kid’s screens, read-only, to show them around or check what they will find.

  • A face they choose

Drawn animals, dinosaurs, dragons and more, their initials on a colour, or a photo you upload.

  • Bring your history

Been keeping track already? Import past transactions from a spreadsheet, or type them in.

  • Private by default

Photos are only ever shown to your family. Sign in with a password or a passkey. Light and dark, on any screen.

Made for kids, too

  • When the next allowance arrives, and how much
  • Each account, with its balance and its history
  • A chart that shows their savings climbing
  • One button to ask to spend, and an answer they can see
A kid's screen: the next allowance, each account with a Request a Withdrawal button, and a chart of the accounts over time.

Set up in a few minutes

  1. Create your account

Just your name and email address.

  2. Add your kids

A name, a username and password, and how much they get, how often.

  3. Let it run

Allowance arrives on its own. They check in; you answer when they ask.
